Our Mission
To provide training and support rooted in lived experience, with a focus on equipping individuals and organizations with the skills, boundaries, and values needed to offer meaningful and sustainable support.
About Us
Remnant Resilience was founded with a commitment to preserving the integrity of peer work in a rapidly evolving landscape. As systems and legislation continue to shape the field, we believe it is essential to protect what remains at the heart of this work; lived experience, authentic connection, and ethical practice.
Our approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, honoring each individual’s autonomy while fostering self-empowerment, connection, and growth.
At Remnant Resilience, we recognize that lived experience is not only valid but vital. It serves as a guiding force within systems and communities, offering insight, empathy, and real-world understanding that cannot be replicated through theory alone.
Our work is grounded in the belief that resilience is built through connection and strengthened through consistent, ethical support. By preserving what is essential and building forward with intention, we aim to support both individuals and communities in creating lasting wellness and recovery.

In memory of...
Joseph Alexander Stewart-Elliston ( Founders former partner)
Joe was a life partner, loving father, and dedicated provider for his family. He was also a person in long term recovery who lived through childhood trauma and severe mental health. We lost him to his mental health and the stigma surrounding getting help. We remember who we lost and why we can't give up.
Treiden Jack Schleicher (Co-founders Son)
Treiden was the son beyond what a parent can even dream of having. He was a big brother that lead his younger siblings with humility. He was kind, compassionate, motivated, and an incredible example of how people should treat one and other. We carry on his legacy through our love and passion for human beings every day. Nothing can replace Treiden, Our best hope is that the pain of his loss be turned into purpose through kindness and compassion for others.
